I know Sunspots well now, shes a good friend, and I know she enjoys living here. Shes made lots of great friends, and we're very fortunate she and her husband decided to make the move here. What a great girl she is!
Sunshyn256, i agree with you on Blossom. Two of my own kids go there, and are thriving. Both socially and academically. We LOVE their teachers!!!
Im gonna DM you though, cuz I know of a terrific program for parents w/little ones, thats great for both the parents, and for the kids....its a win-win.
Anyhow, Im so happy to hear youre happy here! Oh, and with the teens, it really depends on what your child is into. My 14yr old is happy (so far) because of the drama programs, they really give some terrific opportunities for the kids! The teen center at the Boys and Girls club does a whole lot of neat things (I should know, i have to drive my daughter to most of those activities! lol) If youre kids are into sports at all, the gymnastics club is INCREDIBLE, they even sent one of the very very few girls from Oregon onto the National Championships this year.(and shes 16 or 17)I think all in all, only about 40 kids in the nation go, so thats doing pretty darn good. The dance program turns out some awesome performances and I was recently at a luncheon where they told what some of the kids have gone on to do, it was inspiring! Anyhow, I like it because I think being a smaller community, theres more opportunities in many ways for the kids. Always a bonus.
Tiffany

aragonbrown is on a distinguished road
We are looking at a visit in Jan09. What are the +/- of elementary schools in CB or NB? We have a 5 year old daughter that will be attending, 1st grade, Madison or Blossom Gulch? What's your favorite neighborhood in both of those districts?
