Default DRY CLEANING STICKER SHOCK - HELP!

Hello there!

Just moved here from Las Vegas and got an utter case of sticker shock! I brought a suit jacket to (moderator cut) and he handed me my slip and I almost fell over when it said '$6.25'. He then looked at me and said, "it will be ready on Saturday." I regathered my composure realizing it was only Wednesday and confusely retorted, "SATURDAY?!?!" - and he said, "yes, we can have it ready earlier though." I was shocked enough by the rediculous cost, but 3 days to dry clean 1 jacket and $6.25?!?! BLASPHAMY!

MADDESS!!!!!

Coming from Las Vegas I came to love my $1.99 dry cleaner who treated me like a VIP for the past 10 years. I'm a working professional who doesn't need to go broke cleaning her work clothes. Does anyone know a cheap quality dry cleaner in Salem or the surrounding areas that you can recommend? I'm willing to drive a bit aways before I pay this price.

Thanks!

You don't say where you are. If you're in Washington County, there's a place called Bronco Cleaners where you get your duds the next day and it's about $2 per item. I've been going there for years. They do great work.
