Default Beeline Expressway Commute????

Doesn't anybody know if commuting on the Beeline is easy or a nightmare? Has anyone heard people complain?

Yes commuting along the Beachline is really not that bad; better than commuting along the East-West (408). Lake Nona to Sandlake Rd. via the Beachline is doable.

Exclamation 408 isn't that bad either

I commuted for a while from Winter Springs to Metro West and used the 408/417 to do it. It is expensive, but I could do it in 20 min by leaving early or late (after the rush hour), also you can save time on the bottlenecks at the Executive Airport Toll by sticking to the right lane until the last minute (and jump on the E-lanes; there's always one empty for some reason ); and then stick to the left lane as you approach I-4...

I commute from Winter Springs to Orlando every day and find the 408 to be about the worst road I've ever been on. Perhaps when the construction is finished it will be a little better. Right now, everyone is on vacaton, so it's not bad, yet. But wait until August, and it will be a total mad-house again.

Whoever invented toll plazas on highways was a complete and total moron! Every day I pass through the East toll plaza, I think to myself: "this is what they mean by Anarchy".

408 is horrible for traffic, the beeline isn't much better. all depends on the time of the day.

Default Beeline Question!!

My boyfriend and I are relocating to Florida. He is working in Orlando and we were looking into living in the Rockledge, Florida area -- any info on the rockledge area? and also, how is the beeline as far as going from Rockledge/Melbourne area. If not, what are some other nicer area's around the Orlando (towards the east preferably) that i should look into?? Thanks in advance!!!
