Will these two allow you to be employed by both at the same time? Can I work part time for WDW and part time for Universal?

Yes, I have friends who have worked full-time for one and part-time for the other. I see no reason why you could not do part-time at both. I know Disney's part-time is at least 2 full days of availability per week. I do not know what Universal's part-time policy is.

I don't know the true answer, but I wouldn't see that being a problem if you are a lower level employee. Now, if you were working in the marketing departments for both companies, that would be kinda weird....

The problem you'll run into is availability. Both want full weekend availability these days.

Thanks, boy3365. I'd think you're right and that could be a problem. Thanks for offering that.

So, in respense to annerk, do you think one could be 'seasonal' at WDW and part-time at Uni or does Uni offer seasonal, as well. (Thanks for responding, too.)

Once I get there, I'm seriously thinking that I'd like to stay in Orlando for about 8 months and then live elsewhere for 4 months. I'm really starting life over at a mature age and the possibilities are endless and exciting.

How does one get answers to all these questions?? For instance, how soon should I apply before moving? Or, should I move and then apply?

I am a seasonal cast member, and when I was part-time I did not have to availability on weekends. Maybe this has changed since I was hired, as I have been seasonal for quite a few years now. Most of the time one has to be part-time before they can be seasonal. This is not to say you could not get hired as a seasonal employee but I have only seen it happen a few times.

Thanks, tehB33nz . I'm glad you mentioned the part-time before seasonal requirement. My circumstances just may allow me to be seasonal. That would be wonderful for me. LOL
