I want to look up Thorton Park on Google Maps. What streets does it comprise? And where can I look for places to live in Thorton Park? I looked on Trulia but there wasn't much.

I drew a map in Google to highlight Thornton Park. While all of this area might not technically be Thornton Park, most of the businesses, condos, and homes in this area probably consider themselves a part of it. The true center of Thornton Park is Washington St to the east of Summerlin.

Thank you very much. What about renting? What are the best places to rent in Thornton Park? I saw Thornton Park Central...Anything else? In Thornton Park is just high rises and houses or are there townhouses and lower rise apartments as well? I would like places in walking distance to supermarket, pharmacy, local restaurants, etc...

There are townhomes, but the only new ones are the Osceola Brownstones. There are a few more around, but not many. I don't know of any low-rise apartments. It was all housing at one time, but then developers bought up the homes and put down several high-rises and mid-rises. If you are looking to rent try Urbanista. The Paramount is one of the few buildings that is rented out through a property management group, so you can walk in an they will give you a tour. So does the Aspire on the west side of the lake. Most of the other towers are rent from owner only so you'd have to go though an agency like Urbanista, a realtor, or try craigslist. You can find homes for rent on craigslist or though a realtor too. I rent at one of the high-rises and it's great, but very expensive. You can walk to a lot of things. Also check out Eola Heights, which is the area to the north of Lake Eola.

If you just want to be walking distance to the amenities of Thornton Park you can also look in Eola Heights, Colonialtowne South and Delaney Park.

I've heard of the Osceola Brownstones. They look nice. Are they near anything? Any supermarkets, shops, restaurants? That isn't in Thornton Park right?

It's right on the edge of Thornton Park in an area called South Eola. You can walk to everything downtown and in Thornton Park from it easily.
