ANYTHING is better than Boston Lobster Feast. I've lived in Orlando for 20+ years and should have known better but I went there about 3 months ago. It was no kidding - the WORST food I've ever TRIED to eat. The only thing that was palatable was the french fries. It cost $185.00 for 4 people and I had a coupon for free drinks. That was the meal, tax and tip only!!!

I have never left a restaurant feeling so ripped off in my life!

For great seafood - go to Boston Fish House in Winter Park (on Aloma about 1 miles east of 436). IMHO it's the best, freshest seafood in O'town...and you can tell it by the lines. If you go on Friday - get there early or late. It's very casual but the food is fantastic.

The next best is High Tide Harry's at Hwy 50 and 436. They have great lunch specials, too.

Bahama Breeze is the best chain restaurant seafood I've had. I'm going to check out Black Hammock in Oviedo in the next couple of weeks. I've heard good things about it. Maybe do an airboat ride while we're there....they do one at night! Sounds like fun!

I thought High Tide Harrys was the worst food I've had in Orlando

Straubs - Seafood
Landrys - Seafood
Moonfish - Seafood

Girabaldis - Mexican

Bahama Breeze - so-so

Charlies Steak House- steak and Seafood

Fine dining - Manuels on BOA bldg

Yeah...I forgot about Straubs ....it is very good and they used to have some great early bird specials. Haven't been in awhile. Do they still do that? Sorry, you didn't like High Tide Harry's. I've always gotten excellent food there. I usually get fish and DH gets the big seafood platter. All the seafood we've had has been very fresh....but the salads aren't much to brag about.

I feel about Houston's as you do about High Tide Harry's. Everybody else thinks it's wonderful. I went one time and had the worst, toughest steak I've ever eaten. I've never gone back.

The Crab House, there's one on International Drive and one on Palm Parkway, near Disney.

Pricey but very good, Salt Island Chophouse on I Drive.
