I just found out the tickets are $54.99 for FL residents just for the concert. The concert lasts only 45min-1 hour with no opening act. My question is it really worth it?

If it's an act you really want to see than yes it's worth it because you also get to enjoy Universal and City Walk, as opposed to just going to a concert.

From what I understand, the $54.99 just includes the concert, not the park?

No...the Mardi Gras tickets are a late entry ticket (after 5pm) that is for park admission. The concerts are included with your park admission...so the concert is basically free. Makes a FL resident Power Pass not too bad of a deal especially if you want to go to more than one concert. The FL resident Power Pass is only $149.99 and you can go to all the concerts.

I buy the $160 season pass largely for this concert series... that pass includes parking which has gotten pretty proud. A few trips to the movie or the parks and it is paid for.

I love the concert series and attend every year. the B-52's are coming... I'm psyched!

Yeah that $54 is probably a pass for the Mardi Gras event which is on Saturdays and usually starts up around 4-5pm with the entertainers coming out and food booths opening up.At 8pm they have the parade which is probably the best parade at any theme park all year,(I think I've collected 40 pounds of beads through the years) and the concert starts up as the parade is ending.I believe starting April 16th or so the times do get pushed back an hour with the concert starting at 9:30.You could still hit the rides and other attractions so it's a ticket aimed at locals who want to visit for the event and the concert and maybe hit a couple of rides.

I didn't think the Power Pass included parking...not according to the website anyway. I have the Preferred AP and wouldn't trade it for the world. The HHN discounts are great!
