Question How are the resort/spa jobs down there?

My husband and I have been planning to move back down to the Orlando area for a while now.
I have an aesthetic license (facials, waxings, etc..) and am planning to try to find something in the resort/spa industry. Hopefully Disney.
Does anyone have any idea what this industry is like down there?
I am wondering how the job market is for this kind of work. It's booming here in MA, but I am a little worried that I may not find a job when we get down to FL.

Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know if you're here yet, but if you aren't you should know I have been looking for a jod as an esthetician for 7 months. Along with every girl from my class. Even openings for experienced only are few and far between. If you are here already, good luck; if you're here and you got hired---you're better off than us locals.

I have a friend in that industry and she moved from Germany 5 years ago. The only place she was able to get a job was in Mt. Dora, it pays very well but there is a slow time in that area. She has been looking for jobs in Orlando since she moved here with no luck. Everyone tells her the same thing...she's a great candidate but they have 50+ applicants and they will let her know.
