On or off Disney property? If you're looking off site I would echo annerk's statement and use priceline or hotwire. You can usually get a 4 star hotel for under $100.

Glad you found a room! I've never been there but it looks like a beautiful hotel when I drive by. I'm at the front desk at the Contemporary, when we get walk-ins and are either full or they turn pale when they see our rate card I usually refer them to the Hotel Plaza Blvd. hotels like Buena Vista Palace. They usually have pretty good rates and still get some of the benefits of staying on Disney (like resort merchandise delivery). I know one of the people here on the front desk often puts her family up at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista.
