I-4 and Lee Road is fine. It's not really a vacation hot-spot and if you're planning on visits to the theme parks, not close. If that's the case I'm sure you'll get some good suggestions for accommodations that are closer.

I'd stay in Lake Mary if you want something nice and don't mind a good drive to the parks.

It is ok but that area gets very congested during the evening rush hour.

Thanks for the input. I want to visit an old friend in the area plus some other places because I used to live in that area, used to go to Lake Fairview a lot, etc. I know I can take I-4 to Disney, about a 45 minute drive, right? But Universal Studios is up near Metrowest and on Kirkman, right? I know I want to visit Lake Eola and other places in the city too. I don't even know if I'll make it to Disney, I like the city a lot.
