And the turnpikle has been expanded to six lanes in western Orange and southern Lake counties, very little congestion until you hit Turkey Lake/I-4 area.

My mom lives in Winter Garden and there are some nice properties around there on big lots that are convenient to shopping and downtown. She works in Winter Park and has about a 30 min commute.

Also, with 408 you can be downtown in 25 minutes or take 528 to the Airport/International Drive/Theme Parks in 30 - 45 minutes.
This sounds perfect! We will definetly take a look here!

Since you're from Colorado, I would definitely check out Lake County west of Lake Apopka, like Montverde or Ferndale. It'll be the only place with hills you'll see.

Also place on Narcoossee south of the Beach Line on the way toward St. Cloud sounds like what you're looking for.

This might also include some places around Lake Mary Jane. It's rural, but also close to the up-and-coming Lake Nona area.
