My husband and I are moving from Omaha to Orlando. Does anyone know of a reliable moving company to move our belongings ????

In some cases (long distance 1500 miles), it is better to rent medium size trailer and take just important things.
Garage sell + saving from not moving everything = brand new furniture and needs in new state. Plus, you help new state economy by buying in FL . Check prices of furniture on craigslist if you want to save more.

*****do not...I repeat...DO NOT go to any website that says that they will go out and get you the best price. We moved from NY to Lake Mary two years ago. We used such a service. Found out AFTER the fact that one company owned all of the 5 prices that bid on us and they also owned the website. Our furniture left NY on 12/14/09. It arrived in California on 1/30/2010. We got someone elses furniture instead. They corrected the mistake but we had NO furniture and clothes, pots n pans, etc for 7 weeks. I will not name names, but be very careful if you choose someone online. I would go with a little extra money and use the national brand name companies that you know. Phew...I have been wanting to share this with someone for a long time. Hope it helped!
