I have a side yard that slopes down about 6 feet - there is some erosion going on. I'd like to stabilize that slope before the rainy season really sets in. Anyone have experience with a low maintenance plant or grass that would help with stabilization and erosion. Thanks!

I've been researching native plants/shrubs for my own yard as I'm tired of having to replant after freezes. You might try Florida Gamagrass which is native and also on the endangered list. It's used often on slopes to curb erosion and grows in pretty much all conditions except "very moist", which a sloped yard won't provide. It does brown out in winter but does regenerate in the Spring.
