It's actually not owned by The Walt Disney Company anymore; but the company did orginally develop it. I work there and enjoy it very much.

It is Kisimmee. 1/1 Condos start at $189,000 SF homes about $350,000. My condo is for sale There was a thread on here with pictures of Celebration. Do a search.

luvthatmouse - If you don't mind my asking, are you leaving because you don't like it? I did read the descriptions and people go to the extreme (love it or hate it). Really sounds like a community I want for my family though and we did drive through and loved the feel of it.
My top 2 priorities are safety and good schools for my children. Is it safe?

Celebration is a great town for families and also has a low crime rate.

We like Celebration a lot but miss the culture and history up north. We were also making $30,000 more a year up there. If one of us landed a fantastic job here in the next few weeks we would consider stayaing and getting a place a little bigger. Since it is going on 3 years and we are both still looking for good full time jobs, I don't think that is going to happen. We have places offering us good jobs/benefits/pay up north. The grade school in Celebration is good (A) the high school is blah (C) and has a lot of kids bussed in from Poinciana. Celebration itself is quite safe but right outside is not the greatest.

I'm actually thinking we're going to stay up north as well. Oddly, we have 2 opportunities to consider (one in Florida and one in Boston), and I think we'll just live through another freezing cold winter here in Beantown. I love the idea of being so close to Disney though.
