Hi
I am thinking of buying a 3/4 bed townhouse in Kissimmee mainly as a long term investment.I would use it for holidays and to rent it to friends and family.
Being in the UK i am using the internet to find properties.
I am looking at Coral Cay,Crestwynd and villas at 7 dwarfs.
Which of the 3 would you say is the best...I like the villas at 7 dwarfs lane but i believe that i would have to sign a disclaimer to say that i wouldnt make a claim if there is Chinese drywall present.
Has anyone heard of problems with Chinese drywall here.
I have not got a large budget $75k max cash.I dont mind a foreclosure and one that has been stripped of appliances(although i would prefer one with appliances). As i dont want to rent it really as a business one with a low HOA would be good. Also any other resorts anyone can recommend would be good.
Thanks.

I own a condo at the Villas of Seven Dwarfs and with 2 inspections there was no Chinese dry wall used in the construction. The association also acknowledges this from the builder. This property is he only one that we found to have a full gated/security with a 24 hour security guard for entrance. Other properties only have a gate which allows several cars through at a time. The complex is beautiful and quiet. A perfect location for anyone to own and enjoy.

unfortunately there isn't a great way to inspect for CH drywall. they tend to try to find places where they can see the printing on the back of it. I was in a unit there we suspected of having the problem. It had the signs, corroded pipes on water heater, a smell and so forth. I would certainly approach them with care. Personally I think there are some better places out there.
