I was in the NY region over the summer, and some people were talking about Mountain Lakes near Orlando. They said it was very upscale and that there was alot of high end building going on there. (golf, too?) I'm not familiar with it. What's the scoop?

It's called Mountain Lake and it's in Lake Wales.
It's a very private golf development that was home to many of the well known big money families. Driving by it's entrance, you wouldn't even know the development exists- very low key. If you do a real estate search, you can see some of the pricey, old homes available for sale. I did find a link that shows info on it's golf course development: Mountain Lake Last edited by cmj_fla; 08-22-2008 at 11:52 AM.. Reason: removed copyright info |
