Generally speaking what are the property taxes like here in Miami?

I look at condos listing and the taxes listed are enormous!

6k on a 300k condo is that right? annually or a certain amount every month?

Hell, in Vancouver one of the least affordable cities in the world, wasn't this bad, tax-wise that is? whats the reason for this?

Is this only Miami-dade? what about Palm Beach? is this the same?

** Moderator can you move this to Miami it is in the wrong spot!, thanks !

Like most cities taxes can be variable on the same size/price. 6000K is excessive, most in Miami are around 1/3 that.
