Doesn't Del Webb require two HOA fees. It seemed odd to me since it isn't typically what I am familiar with.

One would be for the master community and would cover the recreational amenities, gate, etc. The second would be a smaller one for your subdivision for roads and landscaping, etc.

annerk-wouldn't there be the potential for rules and regs to differ and conflict with two hoas?

Also, you would be sharing with the other area properties in the maintenance of the roads etc. Is there a separate gate to the DWO entrance. From what I understand there are other communities within the immediate area.

My community has both and we have no special rules for the sub, the master rules apply. There will be main roads that belong to the master and then roads in each sub. Each sub will be responsible for it's own--or they may all be maintained by the master. You'd have to read the docs.

Sometimes there are separate gates for the subs as well (I think Stoneybrook has this) but not always. Again this would be specific to each sub. Buyer beware.

Do any of these communities have oversized RV/boat garages, or allow them? We have a 40 foot motorhome and will be looking for a home with a giant garage. Thanks!

Not that I am aware of, and I highly doubt you'll find a community that has or allows this. Best bet would be off-site storage. There are a few places that have inside storage for RV's, but I'm guessing they are pretty costly.
