I'm a 22-yr-old single guy coming from St. Louis to start a web development job with Disney in Celebration, FL.

Here's what I'm looking for ideally:

- Simple 1-br apartment or condo, doesn't have to be huge or fancy
- Preferably don't have to drive through downtown at rush hour to get to Celebration
- Young professional neighborhood (as opposed to more retirees or families)
- Nearby to some moderately happening nightlife (doesn't need to be full-on-downtown)
- Walkable to a couple stores/bars/restaurants, not just sprawling suburbs
- under $900/mo

From what I hear, East and Northeast seem to be nicer, more crime-free areas, but then I'd have to fight downtown traffic everyday. Anything worth checking into on the South/Southwest sides?

Thanks in advance, you gents/ladies are very helpful!

That sounded like Celebration, until you brought up *ouch!* 900 a month!!!! Forget about walkable for that price range in O-Town, or in any price range really. You could try Dr. Phillips area, but that's more likely than not going to run you 1000. It KIND of has what you are looking for, plus you are close to City-Walk at universal, which is fun.

Hunter's Creek.
I used to live in Osprey Links Apts (Just underwent a massive rehab, BTW and are beautiful) and worked in Celebration.
Jump on 417 and you'll be in Celebration in less than 10 minutes.

Just so you, you'll most definitely be working in Celebration Place, an office complex right at the beginning on Celebration off 1-92. Most all of WDIG's offices are in there, I think the 200 building.

thanks everyone. Hunter's creek and Dr. phillips sound interesting. I'm going to be heading there this week to take a look so I'll check places out then.
