Last night the Orange County Commission approved $1.1 billion to build a new Magic arena, a performing arts center, and renovation of the Citrus Bowl.
Do you agree? Should citizens have had more input? Or is this a very good thing for the Orlando area? $1.1 billion plan: What you get for the money -- OrlandoSentinel.com |

I'm glad I left Orlando...1.1 million in tax payer money? Wow, and the Magic arena is still very nice.

Not what I heard, the Amway Arena is pretty dirty and beat up. I know some people who saw a concert there in January.

Wow, when I was there 2 years ago, it was pretty decent. Can that much change in 2 years? I guess so! I guess its still getting kind of small to accommodate Orlando's (now) large population, but gheez, cant they find something do with the building without total demo??
