My family and I are relocating from NC to Orlando and are having a difficult time knowing where the safe areas are. The zip code that we are looking into is 32839. I beleive that is the Millenia/Edgewood area in Pointe Vista Apartments. Is this a neighborhood that will bring us terror and fear!!!! I have a 15 year old son and 6 year old twin boys. Please get back to me regarding this important information. we are moving in June 2011.

Thank you

I don't know about terror and fear, but it's a pretty congested area which is also attractive to a criminal element due to the upscale shopping environment of the mall and surrounding area. Lots of opportunity. In my opinion it wouldn't be the greatest place to live with kids. Areas to the south like Williamsburg (east of Sea World) or the Hunters Creek area would be better options.

No, the Millenia area is not a good area to live in.

Seminole County is a better idea.

I recently moved to Wekiwa Spring area and we're happy with the decision.

As a single mother education and safety are my highest priorities. Our home zoned for Lake Brantly HS which is the best HS of the Seminole county.
