Smile sodo vs baldwin park

Help! i have read every review on apartmentratings.com but would love some real advice (hopefully from people that live in these areas).

Im considering lofts @ sodo but am really concerned about street noise (many complaints from the reviews I read). I really love the location but would like to know other peoples opinions.

I love baldwin park and wouldn't mind living there but wonder if im missing out by not living downtown

please help!

Thanks

I'd pick sodo if u want to be closer to the action of downtown. Baldwinpark is more suburban and family oriented.

I would not be worried about street noise at SoDo...it's not like there are nightclubs there. What you should be worried about are the false fire alarms. Reading those reviews it seems there is a major issue with them over there. At SoDo you would still have to drive to get downtown. I would look downtown itself if you like downtown. You might have to sacrifice size or quality of the place for what you would pay at SoDo, but check around. Look on craigslist for rentals.

Ah, you love BP and "wouldn't mind" living there?
Do you love SODO?
Can you drive to Downtown the few times you want to?
Go with your feeling either way.

You could ride your bike downtown from Sodo. BP is a little too far for that.

Yes, I would not want to ride my bike downtown from BP unless there was a trail rather than riding in the road.
Actually why isn't there? Is it feasible?
