I would agree. Winter Park is such a nice area but it too can be pricey or the homes can be old.

Oviedo has the good schools but is a bit of a rural feel but still very nice.

Lake Mary is nice but off the beaten path. If schools aren't an issue then there are several other decent areas as well.

Rent will be high next to any of the desirable areas. I would be wary of anything too cheap, and definitely do not consider anything that looks too good to be true.
