Default Apt. near SeaWorld/Williamsburg area

Hello! My husband and I are thinking about moving closer to the theme park area. We've been told that the Williamsburg/Sea World area was a nice/safe area to check out. I'm also wondering if there is a nice area near Universal that ISN'T Metrowest - you couldn't pay me to live in that area.

Any ideas of apts (priced $1000 or less for 1 Bd) in a SAFE neighborhood near theme parks (but not too far south of them) would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm currently living in an 800 square foot 1 bedroom apartment for less than $1000 per month rent and I am abot 15 minutes from Universal/Sea World, and about 30 minutes from Disney (depending on the traffic of course). I live north of the parks. I don't know if you are interested in this distance from the parks. I don't know how close "close" is to you. I'm north of Metrowest in an apartment sort of located between Ocoee and Orlando. I think it is a fairly safe area and there are lots of families and couples living in my complex.

What's the place called? We currently live in Altamonte Springs and love it, but being big theme park fanatics, we hate driving 45min+ to them. So, something closer than that, yet not too far (30min-ish or so) from downtown would be ideal. Though safety is more important than proximity. Thanks!

I live at Villa Tuscany (Villa Tuscany Apartment Homes). The complex is really nice and I, being a young woman moving from small town middle america, feel completely safe at my apartment.

I believe there are 1-bedrooms available now as well!

Oh, I work at ORMC and it takes me 15 minutes TOPS to get to work in the morning...and that is if I hit all of the lights on red. Getting to downtown from here is a breeze down 408.

jessizadorable - I just read your "i love theme parks" post and replied to it, then realized it was you here. I hope you're enjoying the parks as much as I do!
