We live in a newer townhome and started having roaches, big browinsh ones, (palmettos). We sprayed the outside of the two doors and put down Borax inside. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Go to a do-it-yourself pest store and get a product called DEMON. It works very well. It will protect for several weeks, if not longer. Its not expensive either. Just mix it up in a sprayer and spray it around the perimeter inside and outside, under the sinks, cabinets, etc.

Is it safe? I have grandchildren that come over, so I worry about that. Thanks for your help.

Its very safe. Pets, kids safe. Once it dries. Its water based, so dries quick.

Default Have fun smackin them.

I sprayed my house. They come about this time of year. We see it, we just smack them. Heck, I have 2 lizards in my room now. We have been trying for 2 days to catch them. Now, I may have to kill them to get rid of them.

Love bugs out, and more. This is Florida.

Call Florida Pest and be done with it.
I hate cockroaches and anything else that comes in the house inc. the little lizards. Raid works better than trying to catch them with a wet paper towel.

I find Raid drops palmetto bugs dead on the spot. Great stuff.

I got the tip on Demon from my pest control guy. Same thing he was using.

Lizards are good. They eat small bugs.

People are saying this works wonders. I'm unsure, it doesn't cost alot so you could give it a try. I'm unsure of all the places it can be bought I know amazon. There are larger qualities or lesser just put the name Advion Roach in the amazon search to decide for yourself.

Amazon.com: Advion Roach Gel Bait 30 Gram 2 Tubes: Kitchen & Dining

As to safty I'm unsure

I find that Raid, the spray, kills the bugs instantly, but doesn't prevent them from returning. You need to buy the bait stations. The roaches come in, they eat the "food" and go back to where they hang. The roaches eat each other, so when eating the infected roach, they die. I had a severe roach problem in an apartment 6 years ago. After about a week, I never saw a roach again.

Roach baits are a good choice I prefer the Combat roach baits myself they seem to work the best. I guess the raid or combat is just as safe as the Advion roach gel.
