Default Edgewood area, all bad?

Is the whole Edgewood area bad/unsafe?
What about areas with houses $800,000+, are they still unsafe?
Around Gatlin Ave and Gatlin Lake.
Anyone know?

Default what is your motivation for asking?

I understand statistically that Edgewood is a pretty nice area in comparison to peers and the rest of the state. What is your motivation for asking?

Well I am moving from up North and someone I know has a very nice place there, and I may be able to stay at his place until it sells. It's about $800,000-$1,000,000 in value, and if I look elsewhere for rent, I'll be looking at $200,000-$300,000 priced houses for rent. So if the area is safe and I have a chance to take it, I'm wondering if I should.
Thanks.

I own a real estate company and only work with buyers/investors and developers so let me know if I can help.

Try this site for information. I send my buyer/inverstors here for information that I technically am not supposed to form opinion on and I use it for property profiles as well.
