I'm a Florida native who moved back to the state after having not lived here for 15 years. I had never had the issue of congested sinuses, sinus infection (current) and sinus headaches in the summer until now. I'm wondering if it's from the air-conditioning and resulting low humidity?? I'm thinking I might need to get one of those cool-mist humidifiers. Can anyone else offer their experience with this? Thanks.

I came to Florida without any allergies.....now it's easier to list what I'm NOT allergic to.

My allergist stated that you could be allergy free one day then BAM! Allergies the next.

Along with my allergy shots I take the store brand equivalent to Zyrtec every evening and it help.

I hope you get some relief soon. I feel your pain.

Being a multiple sinus infection person in Ohio I came here loaded with Allegra waiting to get some infections or headaches.

So far none but I know exactly what it feels like.

If the Z Pack worked then you picked up some kind of infection probably.

Sometimes the Z Pack will work for a few days and the symptoms come right back.

Allegra can now be bought over the counter so if the problems come back you might want to try it or the item Granny recommended.

I also feel your pain. Sometimes it feels like your head is going to explode.

Hope you get better with the Z Pack.

I never had a problem until this past spring and I think it was the oak pollen. Your a/c won't get
the humidity before 45 unless you run it around 72 or so. Push it up to 79 and the level will be around 52.

It might be dust in your vents too since most people seldom if ever clean their vents out. Just a thought...
