You mean you don't know what section 8 is? It's like where the government and renter pay rent together. Usually not desirable types, their options often is to either take an apt inside Orlando or go way out to one of the vacation houses in the rural areas like Poinciana.

Ermmmm, no i dont know what Section 8 is, hence the question! but i must admit to being a little confused now, the area i was looking at is 'Section B', not 'Section 8' - are they one and the same? the area is advertised as Section B ??????????

Some landlords accept section 8 (government housing assistance). Look at the Orlando craigslist and you'll see some rentals here and there accept section 8.

Thanks, BUT the area is definitely described as Section B - would that be a typo or is there an area/zone called Section B?

Poinciana and "Estate" are not words that should ever be used in the same sentence. Homes in Poinciana are about as far from being "estate" homes as you can get.

True, unless one uses the term "estate" and "column" interchangeably as in the 5th Estate, roughly synonymous with the 5th column...ok, it is a stretch, but I am a bit tired.

There is nothing veiled. Poinciana is a less desirable area that has at best modest homes, not estates.

thanks, in the UK an estate can either refer to a 'stately home' or a sprawling residential area. i take it from your answer that the houses in 'P' are modest sized homes and part of a sprawling residential area?
