Wow... thank you for all the great responses. While I appreciate all of the locals' aversion to Disney, I think we will probably not want to drive too far after two days of driving. Plus, it does sound like there are some great options. I really got excited for Narcoossee's, but they are completely booked. Anyone know a good way to sneak our name into the reservation book...lol.

It looks like our options are:
-Yachtsman
-Bluezoo
-Citrico's
-Artist Point
-Bull & Bear

I think Citrico's is probably our first choice, but interested to get any last feedback among those options.

Thank you again for all of your help!

I would eliminate Yachtsman from that list, just because the others are higher rated on Yelp, which I trust for reviews.

Bluezoo is in the same area...right near Boardwalk, and is a much better restaurant. You can walk around Boardwalk afterward, which is beautiful overlooking the water and resorts.

Bull & Bear and Citrico's are at more upscale resorts so you get the high-class factor at those.

Artist Point is at the Wilderness Lodge, which is a neat place, but not as much of an upscale vibe on the grounds. More themed up and "Disney" feeling.

I agree and for whatever reason is lit up like a cafeteria which isn't what I would call upscale.

Why not Celebration?
Quaint town with numerous restaurants; especially if you have never been there and its close to your hotel.

restaurant dot com might have a certificate for bluezoo. I know they were doing it a while back. It's definitely one of the better disney restaurants for sure.

I would consider the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration to be pretty nice. The food is great.

Im not a fan of Seasons 52. the food is good but they are aiming for that artsy look on a plate and serve appetizer portions for $25/ hd or more.

Hey its only a suggestion in case they want to get off Disney property and explore. Maybe they have never been there and will appreciate knowing about it.

Antonios and Columbia are both nice as is the hotels retaurant there.

I think Big Fin Seafood Kitchen on sand lake rd is far superior, and it's locally-owned, unlike oceanaire which is a chain place owned by Landry's. I've actually eaten at oceanaire during the magical dining month and was very underwhelmed with the quality of their seafood.
