Baldwin Park, downtown area wouldn't have too many families, I'm guessing.

Thanks for the input, everybody; yes, you are right, it is a "pick your poison" issue, I know we can't have it all. It's just good to know "what" is "where". Thanks for the heads up about the gun laws, that could be a MAJOR issue. Some towns will be full of amenities, but full of people; some towns will be quiet but "scroungy", so we know we'll have to make trade-offs.

Oviedo - Can anybody fill in a little on this town? I've read very mixed posts about this area, everything from it's very nice and safe to it's crime-riddled and a ghetto full of problems. What's the real scoop?
