Default Brusters Lake Mary Blvd.

According to a recorded message the Brusters on Lake Mary Blvd.near Gators restaurant has closed for good. Can anyone verify this? What a shame everytime I went there with my kids we found the service and ice cream to be top notch.

There are other locations. One on Howell Branch West of 436 is one I know of, and a another in Oviedo. I don't know about the Lake Mary's status.

They all closed, another victim of the recession.

When it first opened, we went there and the ice cream was very overpriced. That maybe the reason. My BIL called it "Brewster's Millions Ice Cream" and said you have to float a loan to buy it.

All joking set aside, it's sad to see all these places closing. When we moved here 11 years ago, every store was occupied. Sadly, you now see several vacant buildings.

Default Brusters

I found the prices there to be an excellent value when compared to Cold Stone Cremery. They also offered various coupons and discounts.

Coupons and discounts make a big difference. I prefer Dairy Queen IMHO.

Me too! My parents owned the little old-fashioned one in Sanford back in the 80s.

Those are the best ones. It's hard to find those anymore. When we go to New Smyrna, we go to the one across from Walmart. It's called Frozen Gold. The best ice cream with the best prices.
