I need advice on what neighborhoods might be similar to S. Tampa area. I love our established neighborhood with mature trees, nice landscaping and friendly neighbors. I don't like developments where all the houses look the same and I'm irritated with the suburban sprawl I see when I drive out there. Currently I'm 10 min from everything...malls, parks, work, conferences, groceries, etc. Is there a location similar in Orlando where we can live in a home for less than 400K? I've been here for 15 years and my impression of Orlando is suburbia with a theme park in the middle. Help change my mind, please! My husband wants to move there so bad!

It sounds like South Tampa is a lot like Winter Park. Check it out - it is a pretty great part of Orlando but a bit on the expensive side. Good luck!
