Hey All,
Anyone know of certain apartment complexes that I need to avoid in Winter Garden and Clermont? My husband and I will be moving to Clermont/Winter Garden area for job transfer in 3 weeks. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!

I dont know where in winter garden you want to be but we recently moved from Falcon Square in Independence and had been there since it opened 3 years ago. we had no issues until the end where i think it was a mix of a set of younger guys moving in next door and us itching to get into our new home.

Good luck!! its a great area!

We have decided to live in the Clermont area. I have read so many good things about it and the commute to Winter Garden for my husband shouldn't be too bad. Do you know of a different route from Clermont to WG without driving on the 50?

The routes depend where in Clermont to where in Winter Garden. Can you give us major intersections for both locations?

Depending on were you are located you might take Marsh rd from Clermont to Winter Garden as an alternate rout. However, in my experience there is no reason why you would not want to use 50 at any time, day or night. They just expanded from 4 to six lanes on most of 50. It is now a very nice road.

As far as apartments, you might check into the Vista's at Lost Lakes just off 27 next to the Wal Mart in Clermont. I have a relative living there and have no complaints so far.

ty WG Florida I appreciate the info. I think 50 is the best route but not living there, I don't know. Here in Atlanta, roads like 50 tend to be very annoying with going only 7 miles down the road takes 20 min. Im thinking that is how it is on 50?

Often condo's and houses are less expensive to rent than apartments in Clermont. The route to Winter Garden entirely depends on where you live and work. I live near the intersection of Hartwood Marsh and 27 and used to work in WG right near the intersection of 50 and the 429. I took Hartwood Marsh to Avalon to 50 and it was by far the quickest way there.

If you live in South Clermont off of 27, there is a back road (marsh rd) that continues behind Johns Lake. This will bring you from Clermont to WG, near the Stoneybrook West area. It's a pretty back road drive, but I wouldn't recommend it after dark.

First of all, that doesn't really help south Clermont by Four Corners much--they'd be better off going up the 429 to the Stoneybrook area.

For those in the area between Lake Louisa and Route 50, Hartwood Marsh Road takes you to the Stoneybrook area. I travel that road all the time, day or night, it's not all that back road, there are a couple of turns that you need to slow down, but it's not like Deliverence.
