Default Video Production jobs?

Hi guys. I have a question. I am graduating next May, and am thinking of moving to Orlando. I will be graduated with a degree in Visual Communicatiosn: Video/Animation. I am more into Video and would like to pursure a career in video production/post-production. Mainly video editing is what I want, but am willing to work my way up. I heard orlando is a good place for stuff like that, is that true?

Also, what are some good neighborhoods. I will be 22 and my boyfriend will be 25. We're both caucasian and want to be in a safe neighborhood.

Also, how does one get to know the neighborhood before moving? I do not have the money (yet) to visit Orlando for a week or so and get the feel of it. Any suggestions? ThankS!

If you don't have a lot of money, don't come to Central Florida looking for a safe neighborhood. You need money to live in a nicer neighborhood or equity from the sale of a home. I sure could have used an affordable videographer when my daughter go married several months ago. The cheapest I could find was $1500. I would have been willing to pay $500.00. I did without and had a friend video it.

I have been a realtor in Orlando for over a decade and believe that video productions will take over virtual tours in the next few years. I've been looking into ways to produce videos for properties for sale, real estate promotions, offices, agents, etc. and think its a lot of work for me. I'm sure many realtors would be interested in a service that produces quality videos and a reasonable price.
As far as the areas in Orlando, I believe there are plenty of low cost areas that are safe and good places to live. I would suggest downtown Orlando, College Park, Winter Park, and Altamonte Springs for someone in their 20's. All these places offer low cost housing in nice neighborhoods.

Default Ironic

It's funny that you had to mention that you were Caucasian. Why can't you just be a person who wants to live in a safe neighborhood? Why is your race relevant?
