Hello... I have been reading A LOT on this cite and I must say it is very informative to say the least. I am a SBF in my forties and am moving to the Orlando area. I am looking for a semi upbeat area.. with shops, venders, restaurants and such. Just a fun, happy atmosphere. I have narrowed it down to; Fairview Shores, Altamonte Springs and Lockhart.. just from some brief research and comments Ive read here. I would welcome your input... By the way ... Im coming from NY.

I was going to Say Winter Park, but you can't go wrong with Altomonte Springs.

Where will you be working? That would help us give you an idea of which area would offer the least stressful commute.
