I just wanted to add a post about the wonderful place we ended up moving called Clermont. In earlier post, we were wanting to move up north. My husband still would like to one day, but we just adore Clermont. It's one of the highest places in FL I believe. We go to Walmart, and are looking down on the town below. It's so beautiful. Coming from Kissimmee, the people there were so rude, and always in a hurry. In Clermont people are so kind, and almost everyone talks about God. I love it. I found an amazing church called "Real Life" It's changed my life. I am so involved in the community, and my kids love it.
Moving to Clermont has been the best thing we've ever done. I personally don't ever want to leave. Although I know my husband still wants to go up north, I am so happy and content here! It's a hidden treasure that's for sure!

Glad you found a great little town in Clermont. Clermont does have a lot to offer. I just wish there downtown area would have a little revival and become more like Mt. Dora or even Winter Garden.

Yes I do agree, however down town does have a charm about it!

I've always loved the rolling hills of Clermont. Every now and than, just for a change of scenery I will drive out there and just admire it. It's certainly not the rocky mountains but it's a very nice hilly area. I love the Pig on the Pond BBQ festival every February.
