Nice parks in Orlando?
Are there nice parks, hiking trails (or something similar) and bike trails in the Orlando area?
I've been to and lived in Orlando before (for about a year) but never really looked into those things. I was mainly focused on going to the theme parks on my days off and take advantage of my annual passes, since I knew up front my stay was going to be limited then.
Now that I am looking into moving back I was wondering of there are some 'hidden' local parks that you could share with us on this forum.
Thanks.

seminole county where i live, has some great parks especially if you like bike riding! they are still completing bike paths that are going to be interconnected throughout the entire county. there is a park on 427 almost near winter springs that everyone goes mountain biking on too. also the bike trails are also used for long walks, even though they are paved. it is a great day with the family, and noshing on panara bread during a break!

Thank you all so much. I did not know about any of these parks. More to see and more to do in and around Orlando.

West Orange Trail
Starts in Winter Garden and goes all the way up to Apopka.
Really cool for biking. 19 miles paved.
And there are some park on that trail.
Enjoy!
