Alright so I have been in Orlando a couple months now, currently living in a house with roommates. However I am basically paying 550 a month with utilities so I want to know if I can find a studio or 1 bedroom for 700 including utilities in an area with decent nightlife. I currently live down the street from UCF, like the area but I dont think there are many studios around. Would love to live in a non ghetto part of downtown but really I dont know what neighborhoods are decent and what are not. Also anywhere that has high tourist traffic would work as well, IE seaworld, universal, disney area.

Anyone have some suggestions on where to look, or if it is even possible to find somewhere for that cheap in an area that has a decent 20s crowd.

Thanks

For downtown basically anything east of I-4 is good. You won't have to worry about being in the ghetto but you may have to worry about being in a much older or outdated place for your price range. If you're willing to go a little further out, you can look at the Conway area, there are many affordable apartments there. Other areas to consider would be Maitland and Altamonte Springs. For the tourists areas, I would look at the Conroy/Kirkman area, Williamsburg, Hunter's Creek and possibly the Turkey Lake area.

Is the area just south of 408 and just east of I4 (orange/kayley) an alright area?

Really never gone downtown except church street but it is only a few blocks away.

It's an alright area but there's not alot of housing options west of Orange. It's mostly warehouse/industrial. The area to the east of Orange has alot of housing options and is a good area.
