I second the anger and add very sad. I also agree completely that those cops are just as guilty. I'm not surprised people like Zimmerman exist in this world, but I just cannot understand how the police thought he did nothing wrong. It's really quite disgusting!

Justice will only be served when Zimmerman is in jail and so are some of the corrupt cops who tried to cover this up.

As the story unfolds, this definitely looks like a racially motivated crime. However, what I meant is that the race of the shooter in a hate crime isn't important. Zimmerman is not the victim here. Anyone can be guilty of a hate crime. We need to focus on the life of a teenager who had hopes and dreams.

What is also turning this into a racial issue is how the cops handled the entire incident. They sent a narcotics detective to the scene. Why? Because the dead teenager was Black? I mean, he had Skittles on him, not cocaine. They even tested Trayvon Martin who was the victim, for drugs and alcohol, but they didn't test the shooter, George Zimmerman. Now we learn that the victim was on his cell phone with his girlfriend just before the shooting, but the police never called her to identity him. So while his worried parents were trying to find their 17 year old, who had only gone out to buy candy, the police just let his body decompose in the morgue. This story just gets worse and worse.

Don't know how many people ever watched (or liked) In The Heat of the Night but today on WGN the episode (Child's Play) dealt with a 9 year-old that set out to kill a man, changed his mind and tried to leave but ended up killing the man and claiming self defense after being where he shouldn't have been. Sadly, reference was made several times to the state of Florida. In light of the current situation, it makes you think.

I don't see much coverage On fox news???I know they are conservative but this is a story that deserves coverage regardless of your Political leanings. Fox news needs to step up the coverage.

CNN has the most coverage that I've seen.

CNN has the most coverage that I've seen.

If all you watch is CNN, how would you know Fox hasn't been covering the story? Fox HAS been covering the story, so your statement says more about what you watch, than what it says about Fox.
