Actually RaceTrac is only in the Southeast and most are like the clean/shiny/new facilities we see in this area. Not sure what you were seeing in the Northeast that you're thinking of...maybe Sheetz which always kind of scared me in terms of the ones I had visited. About Us

It's like a 7-11 or a Sheetz and is not as great as people who make it sound like the second coming make it out to be.

When I moved from Orlando to Baltimore, eveyone was like "Wa-Wa" is sooo great. meh It ain't got nothing on Racetrac.

Some people overhype WaWa, but others clearly are not giving it its due. RaceTrac is nice and clean (much cleaner than most 7-11s), but come on with no made to order sandwiches and inferior coffee I don't see how one could say it's better than WaWa. They don't even take AMEX which is annoying. WaWa is a superior convenience store/gas station to what we already have by quite a bit.

Well for you smart mouthers that has something smart to say like I guess he didnt look up gooogle or look on C-D, I did in terms of not being able to find it I meant a forum about it. i seen the website but it didnt show much or describe what was the big excitement about it. pete, leftee, annerk, people I dont usually respond to anyhow.

To every one else thanks. I seen the site but was confused to exactly what it was, plus the sentinel didnt do the best job describing it's purpose or what exactly it is. There are lots of northern people on this site and learning it was from the north I knew someone could do better detail than their website did.

Again thanks to those who could keep it simple.

WaWa isn't the second coming. But, it is a very consistent, well run, corporate owned, convenience store/gas station. It serves a purpose, and does it well.

They vary by location, just like Wawa. There were some dreadful Wawa stores in Philly.

Oh definitely, there's one in NE Philly that's beyond all hope.

And what stores would those be? There are some old stores that preclude updating, but I'd hardly call them beyond hope. It isn't easy finding the real estate to build new and include a gas station in such an area.
