Default Leesburg

Can anyone tell me about Leesburg home values. How are the prices doing and what is the forcast for them. It seems like a very nice small town.

Default Leesburg

Really, no different than a dozen other areas around the Chain of Lakes. Eustis, Mt. Dora, or Tavares. Leesburg, at first blush, seems like a nice commmunity...and for the most part, it is. We've been here 8 years and except for July-September HOT HOT HOT we love the weather. Unfortunately, house values have not yet re-adjusted as a result of the real estate bust and consequently are 15-25% overpriced.
LOTS of apartment buildings built in last 3 years...I have no idea who in the world they built them for as none of them have over 40-60% occupancy!
DO NOT move here for a job...I guarangoddamntee you'll be disappointed. Average unskilled labor rate is around $8hr. Rents average $650-900 and utilities are high. Milk $4.49 a gallon $7.00 for organic!
Maybe 2-3 decent restaurants...but even those are hit or miss..."fine dining" does not exist. Oh, Chinese sucks here (
