Although it's not a haunted house per se, I've noticed that a few of my neighbors downtown have really gone all out decorating their homes and yards for Halloween. They've placed tombstones throughout the yard, dug up graves, lighting effects, the whole shabang. If you're ever around the downtown neighborhoods it may be worth your time to drive around the Eola and Colonialtown neighborhoods to see some of these homes. It's like driving around looking at Christmas lights, only it's gouls and ghoblins.

Default Found a great halloween event

There's a place called Florida EcoSafaris in St. Cloud doing a Haunted Zipline! They're calling it the Screamline. I am definitely in! Here's a link: www.ForeverFlorida.com/FestivalDays

If you guys want to go to a haunted bar, you must head down to the Peacock Room and see what they do for Halloween. I just saw this for the first time this past weekend...had no idea about it. Walked in and my jaw dropped. The place is incredible...it is themed from top to bottom with all sorts of twisted artwork, full-scale monster figurines, etc. The place is completely packed with things hidden everywhere. If you have never been there it is usually a artsy martini lounge where you will find all types. It is completely worth checking out right now if you are into Halloween stuff.

I second Pete. Stopped by there the other day and if I were a little more tipsy it would have been a pretty frightening experience. Great place to grab a drink and chat, the decor will definitely provide conversational topics.
