Dumb question, I'm sure, but while I have lots of serving experience, it's a little dated. I'm now so used to applying for doing everything online that I just assumed the same would be true with restaurant jobs. But I guess restaurant managers still aren't sitting at a desk, in front of a computer.

Before I start pounding the pavement, is there a site I don't know about? I tried craigslist and that seems mostly for "entertainers" I'm not QUITE to that point for needing extra income for the family. Close, but not quite

Thanks! Oh and do restaurants hire part-time, in anyone's experience, or are they all looking for full-time?

From my experience most of the better restaurants (especially non-chain) don't typically advertise and one has to resort to dropping by Monday through Friday between 3pm-5pm (the usual drill) to fill out an application or drop off a resume with someone who looks like they'd actually read it. Many do hire part-time but be prepared to work some lunch shifts in the beginning which might not be ideal.
