Goodwill and the Salvation Army are good at finding jobs for those that have it harder. It's worth giving them a shot.

Good luck!

I would say that if it doesn't involve the handling of money or children, there may be a chance.

What about construction, landscaping, line cook, etc.?

I believe UPS, Home Depot, Walmart and Lowe's do being it's the type of felony. Landscaping and labor jobs for the most part do as well.

I understand, just b/c your fiance is a felon, it doesn't make him a bad person either.

This is in the PAST and he paid his dues. He should be able to get on with his life. Wonder if Disney would hire him? They are adding on 800 more jobs unto their thousands of jobs, for the new Fantasyland.

Regardless of what he believes a prospective employer may think of his past, I'd say apply to the jobs he wants anyway. If he doesn't apply because he thinks the employer may not accept the past felony, that's a guarantee that he won't get the job.

Governor appears to be a good job for a Florida felon.

Sorry, couldnt resist.
