I live off university BVLD. There's a Wendy's in the Albertson's Shopping Plaza and Full Sail Budlings area....worst wendys around here IMO...I was eating Lunch there with my daugter and my Dad...(mind u...30 mins to get our food when there was only 1 person infront of us)..so we finally sit down to eat and some maintence guy comes in and i can hear the whole convo even though my back is to the counter.

Service man to lady at front counter: "hi, is Amanda here?"
Lady at front desk "no habla ingles"
Service man asks same question to another guy: "eh?"
Service man asks same question to a third guy: "lo siento"
Service Guy to anyone around "Does anyone Speak English here???"
I think he got helped after about 30 mins too.

....oye vey.

i voted not leaving...not because this place is super awesome but it doesnt super suck either.....but i do have a good job annnnd its worth sticking it out here for...perhpas soon i can move into one of the nicer areas...but for not my neck of the woods really hasnt disgusted me yet....i've actually quite enjoyed my 11 years in this neighborhood...but i have noticed the rude drives, traffic nightmares, ect...which seems to bother me more and more everyday. I almost always say a lil prayer when backing outta my driveway haha.

That's funny. If I park too close to the corner of my parking lot, my wife stands outside the car and motions for me to back out. We have both almost been hit by cars coming around the corner in our freakin parking lot at 45 to 50 mph! Everyone is in such a hurry.

I can't remember when it was - about 6 or 7 years ago I guess - but when the first "Fast and the Furious" movie came out, I used to get nearly run off the rad in downtown by kids in Honda Civics.

I guess there are just a lot of crazy drivers down here.

I believe you. That's the funny thing about this board. Most of the people I know do not have plans of ever moving from here. They have put down roots.

LOL...thats funny that you bring that up...i remember going to see that movie at the old Altamonte movie theater back then by the mall and as soon as it was over and i got to the parking area to walk home (because i lived across the street)...i saw dudes peeling out and doing doghnuts and some guy thought he was billy bad ass and ended up getting his car stuck on the curb because he peeled out too hard and his car ran up on the parking curb but he got off of it and sped away in embarassment....mostly Puert Rican street racing kids in that parking lot that night.....i just waited to walk home until they all left because i didnt want to get run over by an idiot

well speaking of IDIOT drivers..... perhaps instead of thinking they are fixing the insurance by putting back No-Fault....they would be better off with this rule -

You don't speak English? No License!!

It's OUR country - speak OUR language or leave.
