Disgusting! This is why I would support a state income tax in a second, if it would mean building more jails and hireing more cops to make sure waste like this can never walk among the general public.

No state income tax = no money to build more jails and hire more cops = overcrowding and the "revolving door" effect = career criminals are back on the street to continue to add to Florida's high crime rate.

Is that the judge that is stupid or the system??

If its the judge, then he too, needs to goto jail.

If its like the cop said, the system, then the people of orange county needs to get their act together and put pressure on the legislators to overhaul that appalling system they presently have..

I think the cop is fustrated like the rest of us are, and i commend him for having the courage to speak his mind. everyone these days are so politically correct, and i know the cop will probably take a lot of heat for saying what he did, but i'm proud of him for standing up for himself. that shows a lot of guts to me, no wonder he's a cop..he's brave.

In the video the Judge asked for the prior history. I can't tell if he got it or not. The State Attorney probably should have had it, but initial appearances are VERY hectic and a cattle call. I can't imagine a judge changing the bond if he had the rap sheet in front of him. My point is, with the technology today, I wonder why can't the judge's have a screen in front of them and punch up the guy's rap sheet. The attorneys and the judges are the gatekeepers.
