Looking for places here that offer growler fills, as well as decent bars/gastropubs (hate that word) with a boatload of taps (30+). Not seeking trendy, just decent. I've seen Sportstown by TG Lee, not too impressed. Any others out there (outside of downtown preferably)?

I'm not a beer snob at all (don't really like the stuff), but I know a lot of people who love World of Beer. I've been there a few times and they seem to have a bit of everything... I even I can find something to drink. They have locations in Dr. Phillips, Altamonte, Lake Mary, UCF and Clermont.

2nd that. They are even on the space coast and in Tampa. Not sure if it's a FL chain or national but they do have quite the selection.

Very familiar with WOB. They are out of Tampa & are currently expanding. Good selection, but higher price points & too "sterile" an environment, if that makes sense. Was hoping there would be a local place that would fit the bill a little better.

I personally love Frank & Stein's in downtown. I go there before Magic/Solar Bear games to get my brew on lol. They are similar to WOB in selection and offerings, but they differ in that they are a one location place (if I'm not mistaken) and have lessened the "sterile" feel by incorporating some fun activities with drinking, unlike most bars where you just drink.

PS. This is no Dave and Busters however, so don't go expecting to be overwhealmed with gaming options, but rather just enjoy a few pints with friends, play a quick game of skiball, then enjoy one of their signature franks

Not a huge beer guy, but 2nd Frank and Stein's, and would add Cask and Larder, and Orlando Brewing Company to your list as well.

Forget Sportstown, you need to go nextdoor to Milk Bar if you're looking for beer. Also check out Oblivion Taproom.

Great advice all! Anyone know if any of the places mentioned offer growler fills...or are those even legal here?

Don't know about growler fills. I think they are illegal in Florida.
