Next time we go to Orlando, ( just got back yesterday and already planning next trip ) I am thinking of booking a villa or condo on a golf resort. We are not ready to do the house rental thing.

My question is where is the nearest nice Walmart Super center nearest Disney area. I saw one on Sand Lake Road in the Doctor Phillips area. Would that be the closest to Disney area ? Would want to stock up on groceries and any other forgotten items.

Also what are the best eateries in the Four Points area for middle age couple and teen son. Not party types or drinkers, but like good cuisine. i was really impressed with thius area but we did not have time this trip.

Yup. You could also do the one at Sand Lake/John Young but it's not as nice IMO. There is also one near osceola parkway and Apopka-Vineland Rd. Osceola pkwy is a straight shot into the parks

You keep referencing "Four Points." I've lived here for nine years and have no idea where you are talking about.

Four Points is the name given for the area where Orange, Lake, Osceola and Polk counties meet, in the Davenport area near I-4 and US27.

I've never heard it referred to as "Four Points." It's always been called "Four Corners." I live not all that far from there, and if you say to anyone around here, "I'm going to Four Points" they are going to think you are going to a Sheraton hotel.

I believe annerk is correct. Four Points makes me think of the Sheraton with the interesting spherical structure on top near I-drive

I think the OP is referring to I-Drive when she says Four Points, as it is where he thought WonderWorks was.

OP, there is a ton of dining in that area. If you're looking for something nicer, restaurant row on Sand Lake Rd. in Dr. Phillips has some great restaurants. I-Drive has just about everything. My personal favorite is Cafe Tu Tu Tango, more for the artsy atmosphere than the food, though.
