I wanted to start a new thread for apartment complexes and townhomes. I was wondering if there were dog friendly apartment complexes that had townhouses. I know that some have townhouse options as well. I was thinking it might be easier to deal directly with a leasing office. Please let me know!

Does anyone know about either The Estates at Park Avenue Apartments or GrandeVille on Avalon Park?

Default Grandeville Opinion

Might be a bit late of a response for you, but I currently live in Grandeville with a large (50lb+) dog.

If you want the bigger apartments or townhome sections (north end of the complex), then I definitely recommend it. From talking with others here, most that have problems are those in units by UCF students that are either loud or have too many vehicles. That's the biggest complaint - the parking, since it is limited. But, I think that's the resident's own fault. You're told how many parking spots you have, if you choose to have more occupants/vehicles and can't park anywhere, that's your own fault.

Also of note, there have been 2 close wildfires (if you look on an aerial you'll see the wooded areas) in the last 2.5 years I've been here. Neither have resulted in any damage.

As far as most apts that allow larger breed dogs, I still think Grandeville is best and have stayed 3 years (currently house hunting). I previously lived in Lake Nona and by Sea World, but researched/visited all that allow dogs in the Orlando area.
