Annerk- thanks for the reply! I'm starting the search a little early to get an idea of what we can expect... and I'm excited
I'll keep that in mind about staying north of Lake Louisa. How are the parks for walking/biking/dog parks? Are there any local fruit/vegetable markets? Anything else you can recommend in town, let me know.

There is a farmers market every Sunday from 9am to 2pm in downtown Clermont. Its on Montrose Street, two blocks away there is a park on Lake Minneola, there are walking paths and a beach that allows swimming if the water levels are high enough.

The West Orange Trail is a great walking/biking route that is 22 miles long. Also the South Lake-Lake Minneola Scenic Trail, I'm not sure how long that one is.
